These scammers are based in Ukraine and operate from so-called “call centers,” also referred to as “fraud offices,” located throughout the country — mainly in cities like Dnipro, Kyiv, and Odesa. All of these fraudulent offices operate under the protection of Ukrainian law enforcement and in collaboration with organized crime figures. The scammers run thousands of similar websites like zakbit.com, using hundreds of different templates. Zakbit is just one such template.
